Defense-Adjacent Sustainment
3D Services for Mission-Critical Systems
ScanCraft Technologies provides advanced 3D services to support mission sustainment, obsolete part recovery, and system readiness for defense-adjacent applications where failure is not an option.
Our work begins with high-accuracy 3D scanning of legacy, damaged, or undocumented components. These scans are converted into precision-engineered 3D models suitable for validation, modification, and controlled reproduction. When OEM data is missing or unavailable, we reconstruct geometry from physical parts with strict dimensional accuracy.
We build simulation-ready 3D environments that represent real maintenance, replacement, and operational scenarios. These environments are used to evaluate fit, function, and serviceability of parts that are no longer in production, as well as to test improvements or redesigns before physical manufacturing.
Where required, ScanCraft supports additive manufacturing and tooling development, enabling limited-run or one-off part production for sustainment programs.
Example applications include:
-
Recreating obsolete or damaged components for sustainment and readiness
-
Modifying or improving legacy parts to extend service life
-
Building digital maintenance environments for training and validation
-
Creating VR-based simulations for learning how to service or replace critical components
